The Dulany restaurant in Davies Center will host its final Local Food Buffet in honor of Earth Month on April 29, 2009 from 11am - 1:30pm.

Steak Night in The Terrace and Riverview Cafe

All students, faculty and staff are invited to our next Steak Dinner on Wednesday, April 22nd in the Terrace and Riverview Café. We will be serving your choice of grilled steak, fried shrimp or chicken, plus side dishes, soup, salad bar and desserts. The dinner runs from 4:30 to 7:30 pm in Riverview Cafe and 4-7 pm at The Terrace. We hope to see you there!

Sustainable Food Panel Discussion

Students, faculty, staff and the general public are invited to attend a panel discussion focusing on sustainable food initiatives at UW- Eau Claire and the City of Eau Claire. The panel will be held Tuesday, April 14th at 5pm in the Presidents room of Davies Center.

Panelists will include Christian Wise (UW-Eau Claire Blugold Dining Services), Rick Beckler (Sacred Heart Hospital Hospitality Services), Dylan Thomas (UW-Eau Claire Campus Kitchens Project) and Aaron Ellringer (Just Local Food).

Organic popcorn will be served!

April Break Hours of Operation

Several Blugold Dining locations will be closed or open limited hours over April Break. Green Bean, Ultimate Baja/Salad Toss, The Dulany, Café a la Cart, Higherground and Library Grounds will be closed starting Friday and reopen on Monday. All other dining areas will have limited hours or be closed over the weekend. $2.99 Breakfast in The Terrace

From April 6th to 10th, The Terrace in Davies Center, will be offering breakfast for just $2.99! Our all-you-care-to-eat breakfast includes made-to-order omelets and breakfast scramblers, hot entrees and sides, cereal, fruit, yogurt, breakfast pastries and beverages. Breakfast hours are 7am – 9am.
