Happy Spring Break!

Well it sure doesn’t feel like Spring with this chilly wintery weather, does it? Well, we’re doing what we can to keep you toasty warm! Marketplace will be open this week with our cooks in Blu Plate Diner and sandwich artists in SubConnection ready to serve you!

Since the halls are scarce and classrooms empty, we will have limited hours all week. With the exception of the furlough day on Friday, we’ll be open each day from 7:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. in Marketplace.

New Blu Plate Diner Specials

We have some great new Blu Plate Diner Lunch Specials for you to try. Our Executive Chef Tim worked closely with Steve and Gina in the Blu Plate Diner to come up with five great new entrees. Make sure and try the Chicken Creole over Dirty Rice Thursday, October 15th or the Texas Cheddar Open-Faced Meatloaf Sandwich on Friday, October 16th. The Chicken Cordon Bleu, Portobello Rustic Sandwich, and the Pork Loin with Onions, Peppers, Mushrooms and Port Wine Sauce are the three additional entrees to try as well. New at Blu Plate Diner: Belgian Waffles

Made-to-order Belgian Waffles are now available at Blu Plate Diner in Marketplace. Our waffles are served with your choice of chocolate chips, blueberries or raspberries baked right in, or try a plain waffle topped strawberries and whipped cream or butter and syrup. Belgian Waffles plus all your favorite breakfast items are available all day long in Blu Plate Diner.

Marketplace is Open!

Looking for your morning coffee or something for lunch? Marketplace is open featuring Blu Plate Diner, SubConnection and our Summer Salad Bar.

Blu Plate Diner will be open from 7:30am to 3pm featuring breakfast and lunch entrees, plus daily and weekly specials. SubConnection is open from 10:30am – 3pm with a large selection of hot and cold sandwiches. You can also create a salad with your choice of fresh ingredients at our popular Summer Salad Bar from 10:30am – 2pm.

Dining Options for Holiday Break and Winterim

All Blugold Dining locations, with the exception of Blu Plate Diner in Marketplace, will be closed until the Winterm session begins on January 5th. Blu Plate Diner will be open 7:30am to 3pm for breakfast and lunch, Monday, Tuesday and Friday of Christmas week and New Year’s Week.
Blu Plate Diner, Sub Connection and a self-serve salad bar will be available starting Monday, January 5th.
