The cafeteria has gotten on my nerves again. Their complete and utter lack of vegetarian foods prompted me to accidentally take a dish with meat hidden in it. I thus scraped it onto the table and left it for them to clean up.

Every week I leave at least one comment on their worthless comment board (e.g. the more popular comments are "label the dishes more clearly!" OR "just because something is labeled a 'vegetarian' dish doesn't mean you need to put so much salt/pepper/cumin into it!")

It takes so much energy to be reasonable at the cafeteria. Every time they give me something with meat in it, I just want to throw it back at them. Even if I wrote "Vegetarian" across my forehead, they would still dish out meat.

Well, I am still hungry.

Oh yeah, I'm tired of those ridiculous mushrooms, and this week they had WAY TOO MUCH garlic on them. Why not serve instead a NICE and WELL-COOKED alfredo dish with broccoli in it? I would rather trade in my ticket for that instead of a juicy purple mushroom.

Your method of dealing with a situation lacks a real desire to see change. In the future, please contact a manager or supervisor at the facility you are using. I have taken the time to investigate several complaints and what many people see as meat is really a meat substitute.

We have a variety of vegetarian options and in the Fall will increase the option number.

We are responsive, if you make comments to a manager or supervisor or even come into my office with specifics, we can make changes.

We will have other "nice" options available for steak night in the Fall.

Thank you for writing and I hope you will take my suggestions on how to deal with outstanding issues.

Christian
