$2.99 Terrace Breakfast Special

From November 2-6, The Terrace in Davies Center, will be offering breakfast for just $2.99! Our all-you-care-to-eat breakfast includes made-to-order omelets and breakfast scramblers, hot entrees and sides, cereal, fruit, yogurt, breakfast pastries and beverages. Breakfast hours are 7am – 9am.

Introducing the New Block Meal Plan

Blugold Dining is offering another Meal Plan option for students living off campus, Chancellor’s Hall and faculty – The 50/50 Plan. The 50/50 Plan provides you with 50 meal (swipes) to be used in either cafeteria for breakfast, lunch, dinner and theme meals plus $50 dining dollars for retail use. We know that you are busy with classes, work and other events. This plan gives you the convenience of a full meal anytime that you are on campus and a large variety of food to choose from.

Purchase this plan today for only $300. Unused meals and dining dollars roll over to the next semester. If you have any questions regarding The 50/50 Block Plan call us today at 715-836-5261. You can also find more information about the plan at the Blugold Card Office.

National Pretzel Day October 26th

Did you know that the average American eats two pounds of pretzels a year? Monday, October 26th is National Pretzel Day, so to celebrate we are offering $.50 off your pretzel purchase and some free samples at Pretzel Logic in the Hilltop Food Court, and in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Pretzel Logic will sprinkle pink salt on the pretzels.

Here are some fun facts about pretzels: The largest pretzel ever made was 40 lbs and measured 5 feet across. It was made in Pennsylvania where coincidentally the average annual pretzel consumption is 20 pounds per person. More than $550 million worth of pretzels are sold in the US annually; 80% are made in Pennsylvania, where the hard pretzel originated.

Take a tour with the Dulany

The Dulany would like to invite you to travel the world with your taste buds. First stop, Italy with some Chicken Saltimbocca or follow us east to try some Szechwan Beef with Broccoli. Maybe you just want some good ol’ Down Home Cooking with Oven Friend Chicken, Mashed Potatoes and Creamy Coleslaw. If you are adventurous, stop in on Thursdays for a different ethnic themed lunch every week. Our Executive Chef, Tim Grayson is eager to prepare some new and exciting entrees from his experiences around the globe. Look forward to some entrees you have never seen before and enjoy your old favorites. The new worldly menu rotation will start October 19th and will be posted online soon. New Blu Plate Diner Specials

We have some great new Blu Plate Diner Lunch Specials for you to try. Our Executive Chef Tim worked closely with Steve and Gina in the Blu Plate Diner to come up with five great new entrees. Make sure and try the Chicken Creole over Dirty Rice Thursday, October 15th or the Texas Cheddar Open-Faced Meatloaf Sandwich on Friday, October 16th. The Chicken Cordon Bleu, Portobello Rustic Sandwich, and the Pork Loin with Onions, Peppers, Mushrooms and Port Wine Sauce are the three additional entrees to try as well. Dulany Themed Buffets

Join us in the Dulany Thursday, October 8th for our 5th annual Sabor Latino Buffet in honor of Hispanic Heritage month. The Dulany will be serving several popular Hispanic entrees, side dishes, salads and desserts in a festive atmosphere. We also have our Spooktacular Halloween Buffet Friday, October 30th held in the Council Fire. Not far behind we have the Thanksgiving buffet Thursday, November 19th. These special lunch buffets are a must see and campus favorites so please be sure to make reservations.
